Relay for Life

On Saturday, April 9, the Color Guard participated in the opening ceremonies for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event at Natomas High School.  A seven-member Color Guard members provided the a flag ceremony with American and California flags on the track at the high school and then lead the cancer survivors in the first lap of the 24-hour event.  Other scouts then handed out medals and flowers to the survivors accompanied by officers from the California Highway Patrol.
